Stop people in their tracks. Artisan Board #27 is a handcrafted end-grain cutting board featuring a bold, interlocking chevron pattern in warm hard maple and rich sapele — a combination that looks like it belongs in a gallery as much as a kitchen.

End-grain construction means the knife hits the wood between the fibers rather than across them, making this board gentler on your blades and more resistant to scarring over time. The stepping zigzag pattern is the result of precise cutting, gluing, and surfacing — dozens of individual pieces aligned to create a design that shifts and shimmers depending on how the light hits it. The subtle variation in sapele's ribbon-like figure adds depth you won't see in any other board.

Finished with multiple coats of food-safe oil and beeswax, this board is sealed, smooth, and ready for serious use — or serious display.
