F.A.Q.

What is your turnaround time?

Our current turnaround time for listed items is 5–10 business days. We will always post any changes due to holidays, and we'll be transparent during the ordering process if custom items need a bit more time. Please note that processing time does not include shipping — you can choose your preferred shipping speed at checkout.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We do not accept returns or exchanges on personalized items. If you ever have a question or concern, please email us at sales@wetnosewoodworks.com — we're always happy to help.

For non-personalized items, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost unless an item arrives damaged or defective. We don’t charge any restocking fees, and items should be returned in their original condition. Please contact us for return shipping information.

Return labels are not automatically provided, but you’re welcome to use the carrier of your choice. If something arrives damaged or there’s a mistake on our end, we will gladly provide a prepaid label to make it right.

Can you create custom items?

Yes! We love custom work. You can see examples of our custom pieces on our social media pages — some of our favorite projects have been special requests. Please reach out to sales@wetnosewoodworks.com and we’ll help bring your idea to life.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! Free local pickup is available in Guilford, CT. Just select the pick-up option at checkout. You’ll receive a notification with instructions when your order is ready.

Why does the engraving or wood look different than what’s shown on your website?

Since each of our products is handmade, every piece is truly unique. Most of our wood is milled down from larger boards, and natural variations in grain, color, tone, and character are part of what makes each item one-of-a-kind. Small differences in shape or size may also occur depending on the lumber available and the handmade nature of our work.

How do I care for my new board?

We recommend conditioning your board with our Pawsitively Perfect Board Butter or a generous coat of mineral oil. Wooden cutting boards should never go in the dishwasher.

To clean, wash with lightly soaped water, towel dry promptly, and store in a cool, dry place. For stubborn stains, sprinkle salt on the board and scrub with a freshly cut lemon half.
